One of the most respected and influential of the "Philadelphia School" of golf course design, our original course designer William S. Flynn was a prominent Philadelphia architect who designed nearly 60 courses in his lifetime. Flynn was a master at course routings and his designs have earned him a permanent place with golf's greatest designers. Our course reflects some of his most iconic ideas such as incorporating beautiful vistas while providing the players with a unique variety of setups. Course expansions continue to incorporate Flynn's vision and ideas into the course as it exists today.
